Roles and responsibilities

Saltroute offers a comprehensive power purchase agreement in South Africa in collaboration with our affiliate Africa Solar IPP which is responsible for the engineering, procurement, and management of the construction (EPC). We bear the risk of ownership of the facility and guarantees 90 % of the forecasted energy production per year Based on our bespoke radiation and shading forecast per installation.

PPA Benefits

A PPA is the most efficient way to purchase essential energy infrastructure that makes you energy self sufficient and resilient to electricity interruptions. The equipment we use is the very best and carries a ten-year original equipment manufacturer warranty on all inverters, batteries and solar panels.

You have the option to buy the PV System at any time after the first year at a depreciating schedule according the minimum term you select that will keep on producing energy for up to twenty - years.​
